CATEGORY RESTRICTIONS

Students must take an approved course in the line of authority they hold. Producers who hold a combination P&C and L&H license must take a minimum of 6 hours in each line of authority. No more than 50% of the requirement can be in company-sponsored courses. No more than 3 hours of Ethics can be completed in a renewal period.

SPECIAL TRAINING

• FLOOD INSURANCE TRAINING – D.C. licensed producers who sell National Flood Insurance Policies are required to take a one-time 3-hour course on Flood Insurance.

• ANNUITY BEST INTEREST TRAINING –
D.C. licensed producers must complete a state approved 4-hour Annuity Suitability Best Interest course before selling, soliciting or negotiating any annuity products. The ExamFX Annuity Suitability Best Interest Standard course satisfies this requirement.

COURSE PRESENTATION

• STUDY BY TOPIC QUIZZES –
ExamFX recommends that all Study by Topic Quizzes are passed with a 70% or better.

• LICENSEE AND PROCTOR ATTESTATION – The licensee and proctor attestation must be completed following the certificate exam.
