FINRA Series 31 Exam Details
The Series 31 exam consists of 45 scored questions. Candidates are given 1 hour to complete the exam and must achieve a 70% to pass. The cost of the exam is $80.

What is the Series 31 license?
The Series 31, the Futures Managed Funds Examination, is the National Futures Association (NFA) exam administered by FINRA. In most cases, this exam is required to individuals applying for NFA membership as a futures commission merchant (FCM), retail foreign exchange dealer (RFED), introducing broker (IB), commodity pool operator (CPO), or commodity treading advisor (CTA), or as an associated person (AP) or these intities.
