Annuity Suitability and Best Interest Standard Training

After the NAIC updated its “Model Suitability in Annuity Transactions” regulation to include a “best interest standard”, states gradually began to replace existing Annuity Suitability Training requirements to include the “best interest standard.” To facilitate the transition, many states allow producers who have previously completed annuity suitability training in the last 6 months to either complete a 1-hour “best interest standard” training, or complete a new 4-hour Annuity Suitability Best Interest Standard course. Be alert to these changes so you complete the correct course for your state.

If you've already taken the Annuity Suitability course, you have 6 months to take a 1-hour Best Interest Standard course or take a new 4-hour Annuity Suitability and Best Interest Standard course.

ExamFX offers the 4-hour Annuity Suitability Best Interest Standard course. Find out more about our Continuing Education courses here.
